Requirements

Seven or more years of experience working on significant pieces of or leading comprehensive corporate responsibility campaigns.  Demonstrated ability to run multi-stakeholder coalitions without losing the thread. Ability to integrate corporate finance, government contracting, and regulatory law at a level sufficient to brief journalists, lawyers, and members of Congress credibly. Experience working across the progressive ecosystem — labor, racial justice, consumer protection, tech accountability — and the relationships that come with it. Comfort operating in politically complex environments where the targets are powerful, well-resourced, and capable of retaliation.

Familiarity with or openness to quickly learn about technology companies, AI, and the federal contracting system is strongly preferred. Experience with international campaigns or regulatory environments (EU, UK, Brazil) is a plus.

What This Is Not

This is not an entry-level role. It is not a role for someone who needs to be told what to do next. It is not a role for someone who mistakes generating attention for building pressure. And it is not a role for the faint of heart — the targets are well-funded, politically connected, and accustomed to winning.

Responsibilities

Comprehensive campaigners will own the strategy and execution of coordinated, comprehensive corporate responsibility campaigns built in partnership and coalition with organizations and consultants. You will convene and manage coalitions of allied organizations, organizing, direct research and communications operations, coordinate with legal teams, and build the political relationships necessary to create real consequences for companies that have so far avoided them.

Lead campaign strategy, planning, and execution across legislative, legal, regulatory, consumer, and earned media lanes — simultaneously. Support a distributed coalition of partner organizations. Oversee research operations including FOIA strategy, financial analysis power mapping.
