Recognized Journeyman Boilermaker status (NCCER, union hall, or equivalent).
4–6+ years of industrial boilermaking experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in welding, rigging, fitting, and blueprint interpretation.
Ability to lead small crews or direct apprentices.

Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and work independently from blueprints, isometrics, and technical specifications.
Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and structural components.
Perform high‑precision cutting, beveling, fitting, and layout using advanced tools and fabrication methods.
Weld using SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and other processes as qualified.
Perform hydrotesting and integrity inspections on vessels and systems.
Lead rigging operations, including setting up hoists, cranes, chokers, and lifting gear.

Job Summary
The Journeyman Boilermaker is a skilled craft professional responsible for independently fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and other heavy industrial components. This role requires strong technical expertise in welding, rigging, layout, blueprint reading, and safety. Journeymen are also expected to mentor apprentices and ensure work meets company and code standards.
