Requirements

To join our team:

You have experience in metals recycling, scrap yards, steel mills, or similar environments.

You have knowledge of stainless-steel and exotic alloy grades and identification techniques.

You have the ability to perform hands-on yard work including sorting and material handling.

You have experience using XRF analyzers or other grade verification tools.

You have high attention to detail and accuracy in classification.

Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD26 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours

Responsibilities

The

Stainless Steel and Exotic Alloys Specialist

will play a critical role in assessing, verifying, and ensuring the quality and classification of incoming and outgoing stainless steel and exotic alloys materials.

This individual will be responsible for evaluating material quality, grading stainless and exotic alloys, conducting tests to confirm grade accuracy, and supporting hands-on receiving and picking materials within the yard.

This role combines technical metals knowledge, quality assurance, and physical operational work.
