Requirements
Minimum of a 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar capacity or commercial real estate industry, exposure to industrial leasing is an asset.
Knowledge of the commercial leasing process and lease deal negotiation aspects
Proficiency in the Office Suite
Excellent customer service skills with a personable, proactive and professional approach
Strong problem-solving skills; must be a self-starter with curiosity and initiative.
Ability to understand prospect needs and match them to appropriate spaces.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Leasing Director, the Leasing Representative will be responsible for leasing-related activities across multiple portfolios and ensuring they meet the strategic goals and growth of the portfolios. The role focuses on coordinating leasing processes, supporting deal execution, and contributing to effective leasing initiatives while achieving leasing objectives, all while serving as a personable and professional first point of contact for prospective tenants.
Conduct showings of vacant and upcoming vacant units.
Prepare lease proposals, offers to Lease/Letters of Intent, negotiate terms of offers and leases and obtain Landlord approval of all lease terms.
Generate leasing assumptions for annual property budgets as required across portfolios.
Communicate with Asset Management to understand individual asset plans and gain an understanding of budgeted goals and timelines.
