Requirements
Bachelor's degree in communication, human-centered design a similar field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in content design or UX writing for consumer products, with a portfolio demonstrating user-centric content, design strategy, and measurable impact across in-product, push notification, and email experiences.
Expertise in defining, evolving, and applying content systems, frameworks, and standards, including using AI-powered tools and workflows to help scale your approach.
Experience driving A/B tests, experiments, or data-driven optimization for content effectiveness.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills to align and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Proven self-starter: you’re skilled at navigating ambiguity, carving out strategy, and taking full ownership of your work area.
Responsibilities
Lead content design for high-impact Growth work streams, independently scoping opportunities, setting vision and strategy, and delivering high-quality solutions that shape user journeys.
Build scalable content frameworks, standards, and naming systems to support Pinner needs and unlock experimentation.
Leverage data, user insights, and A/B testing to evaluate and optimize content for engagement, education, and discoverability.
Collaborate and influence cross-functional partners, presenting your work, co-creating solutions, and advocating for the user.
Evolve and apply Pinterest’s content guidelines to scale inclusivity, accessibility, brand consistency, and global impact across experience touch-points.
Stay aware of industry shifts and cultural trends in the ways people communicate online; filter and apply these insights to keep Pinterest’s content fresh and relevant.
