Process Excellence, Audit, and Controls Analyst

You will thrive in this role if you have:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Relevant work experience (1-3 years) including control identification, testing, and process improvement

Strong skills in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)

Understanding of business processes, financial reporting, and information technology audit and control frameworks

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Role:

The Process Excellence, Audit, and Controls Analyst is a detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas of improvement, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.  The Analyst will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of auditing principles, and can communicate audit findings clearly and effectively.

The Process Excellence, Audit, and Controls Analyst will play a crucial role in the organization’s Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) activities by assessing, monitoring, and enhancing internal controls and processes.  The Analyst will participate in business process walkthroughs to understand and identify key controls, keep abreast on control-impacting business changes, effectively and efficiently test key controls, and monitor action plan remediation activities.

The Process Excellence, Audit, and Controls Analyst will evaluate and improve end-to-end business processes by identifying inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities for optimization, applying continuous improvement methodologies, and partnering with stakeholders to design scalable, efficient, and well-controlled processes.

Impact:

Participate in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of internal audits across various departments to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls.
