We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Lead Product Manager, Incident Management who will own the end-to-end strategy for one of our most critical safety offerings, balancing the refinement of existing Collision Detection algorithms with the pioneering of a brand-new Post-Collision Workflow. The projects will vary in scope, complexity, and affected business area, requiring a builder who thrives on autonomy and is capable of navigating undefined territory to deliver a seamless safety experience. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!
10+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 8+ years specifically in Product Management leading technical or data-heavy products.
Mandatory experience in Vendor Management, managing external contractors, agencies, or offshore development teams to ensure quality and timeline adherence.
Deep experience in Telematics & IoT, specifically understanding accelerometer, GNSS, and sensor data related to crash detection and reconstruction.
Highly preferred experience in the automotive insurance ecosystem (InsurTech), specifically with First Notice of Loss (FNOL) or claims processing.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Product Manager, Incident Management, your key area of responsibility will be acting as the technical and strategic captain to "right the ship" regarding collision accuracy while simultaneously building new revenue-generating workflows from scratch. You will be responsible for directing external contractor teams, managing complex backlogs in Jira/JPD, and implementing data-backed improvements to reduce "false positive" alerts. You will also need to work closely with internal Engineering and Data Science teams, external development partners, and Global Sales and Solutions Engineering leadership.
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly autonomous leader with operational grit and a turnaround mindset, capable of absorbing pressure from stakeholders while methodically rebuilding credibility. In addition, the successful candidate will have deep technical and data fluency, with the ability to independently query raw data via SQL to validate improvements. You must be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities—specifically balancing critical accuracy fixes with new feature development—to ensure rapid delivery and the restoration of organizational trust.
