Zipline is building the future of instant delivery.

As a Field Sales Representative, you will work with our commercial leadership to sign up local restaurant and retail partners in Austin.

You will directly own specific sales regions within the coverage area of our drone delivery network.

You will be responsible for identifying attractive restaurant and retail prospects, and then reaching out to these prospects to explain our service and sign partnership agreements.

You are our important ‘eyes and ears’ on the ground - learning what are the most popular restaurants and retailers in each community and actively engaging with these merchants to join our delivery platform.

This role will be based locally in Austin, Texas and will involve a mix of telephone, email and face-to-face in market sales.

Responsibilities

Work with our metro commercial leadership and network design team to identify a target list of restaurant and retail partner prospects around each of our sites

Drive an effective sales process: from source to close - exceeding sales targets

Craft effective sales pitches that show an understanding of a prospects business and resonates with their needs and ambitions

Evangelize and articulate the benefits of Zipline to prospective customers

Collaborate with commercial and sales leadership to create compelling presentations, proposals and pitch materials

Build an ongoing rapport with prospects throughout the sales process so as to create a trusted relationship between Zipline and our merchant partners
