Responsibilities
The Nuclear Medicine/PET Imaging Technologist performs nuclear medicine In vivo and In vitro procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation (including SPECT and PET), accomplishes computer processing and image enhancement, and provides images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic and therapeutic interpretation, under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine/PET Imaging Manager/Supervisor, and Imaging Services Leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
Certification and active registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) required. Licensure in Radiologic Technology (Nuclear Medicine) by the State of Ohio Department of Health required. Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine program required.
