Responsibilities

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer on our Task Workflows Platform team, you will build and scale the foundational infrastructure that powers core experiences across Brex.

You will work across our extensive suite of platforms - including our multi-channel notifications engine, collaborative commenting system, and dynamic workflow rule builder.

You will also play a pivotal role in evolving our task orchestration infrastructure infrastructure, helping us transition from a centralized, generic experience into highly tailored, purpose-built solutions for specific product domains.

You will tackle complex full-stack challenges, from designing scalable backend APIs and rule-evaluation engines for custom automations, to crafting intuitive frontend UX for our domain-specific task interfaces and workflow builders.

Beyond core platform work, you will be part of a team that directly shapes broader product experiences - including leveraging AI to streamline user workflows and supporting the continuous evolution of our productivity tools in web and mobile.
