Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Employment Law Counsel provides legal guidance on all aspects of employment and labor law, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role advises management and HR on employee relations matters, mitigates legal risk, and supports the organization’s people strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Advise on employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leave laws, and workplace accommodations

Draft, review, and update employment-related policies, handbooks, agreements, and contracts

Provide guidance on employee discipline, performance management, investigations, and terminations
