At least three years of experience in prospect development.

Comprehensive understanding of major gifts fundraising principles and practices.

A strategic thinker with a natural curiosity to continually improve results and experiment with new methods and ideas.

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

A demonstrated ability to work alongside front-line gift officers in a unified, team-oriented approach to portfolio management.

Advanced proficiency in using a variety of research tools and relational databases.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: The U.S. based anticipated salary range for this opportunity is $110,000-$122,000 plus benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salaries NPR expects to provide for new hires for the position across all US locations.

Responsibilities

Supervises the Prospect Development team providing mentorship and supporting professional development.

Conducts high-level research to identify prospects, validate capacity ratings, and deliver comprehensive donor briefings.

Provides strategic oversight of prospect management policies, staff training and the adoption of Salesforce enhancements and processes.

Oversees wealth screening processes and assignment of new prospects.

Develops and maintains a robust prospect pipeline, monitoring movement through the fundraising cycle  to support team strategies.

Facilitates regular portfolio reviews with fundraisers and leadership to review gift opportunities, monitor pipeline velocity, and refine conversion strategies.
