Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Minimum one (1) year of welding experience.

McWane Plant & Industrial is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Job Shop Fabrication and Machining operation. The Welder I position will be required to layout and weld together parts using manual welding processes according to templates and layout specifications.

Proactively promotes the McWane Way principles.Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Mcwane Plant & Industrial Management Program. Advise management of any deviations from this program.

Weld in multiple positions (Flat, Horizontal, Vertical and Overhead positions)

Identify and perform appropriate weld per specifications.

Will weld ductile iron and steel pipe and collars.

Use a variety of tools and equipment including but not limited to pneumatic and electric tools, measuring devices, calipers, tape measures, grinders, jacks, welders, cutting torches, Sander, Drill, Chop saw, and cranes safely and proficiently.
