Requirements

Manager, Allied Health & Geriatrics
The Physiotherapist provides assessment and treatment across acute care areas and fulfills the role of Stroke Outreach PT, including consultative assessments in the Stroke Prevention Clinic and the TIA and Minor Stroke Unit.
As an integral member of the Allied Health department, the Physiotherapist (PT) provides evidence-based and patient-centred assessment and treatment of acute care adult inpatients with acute neurovascular conditions, primarily stroke. The successful candidate will work with a collaborative interprofessional team, participate in rounds, meetings and quality initiatives, and assist with coverage across other clinical service areas as necessary.
PT services are coordinated to provide a seven day a week service to our patients, with all team members participating in a rotational service model.
