Medicaid Application Coordinator

One (1) to Two (2) years of accounting experience with a computerized accounting system required.

Two (2) to five (5) years of Medicaid application experience required.

Comfort with technology; ability to adapt and effectively utilize various software platforms.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable individual primarily responsible for managing Medicaid and Benevolent Care application processes.

The Counselor will also handle Medicaid Pending and Patient Liability aging, collaborate on collection activities, and update income changes for recipients.

Serves as the Medicaid subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with State and County guidelines.

Oversees the Medicaid and Benevolent Care application, reapplication, and approval process across all Asbury Communities, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and supports complicated applications and process challenges.

Collaborates with clinical and operational teams to ensure all Medicaid applications are submitted timely and accurately.

Reviews Medicaid Pending and Patient Liability aging, assists Facility Billing Counselors, collaborates with Facility Billing Counselors on collections activities, and updates income changes for recipients.
