Responsibilities
The OT Assistant provides therapy treatment planning, interventions, and discharge planning, for a full patient caseload in acute care, acute rehab, skilled facility, outpatient settings as appropriate.
Demonstrates appropriate communication, professionalism and supervision of support staff (aides, volunteers) and complies with all hospital and network policies.
Participates in education and teaching commensurate with novice clinician.
Essential Functions:
Transports and safeguards patients to and from treatment areas.
Arranges treatment supplies to ensure an orderly and sufficient stock.
