Responsibilities
The BSA Compliance Manager is responsible for leading BSA Compliance Operations for the credit union, including direct management of BSA Assistant Managers and oversight of Investigators and Specialists to ensure quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
This role leads BSA operations within a growing and evolving program environment, with embedded quality control and validation responsibilities and strong partnership across Compliance Risk and other internal teams.
The manager is accountable for the effective performance of investigative activities, regulatory reporting, and control processes, including SAR filings, CTR filings, MIL recordkeeping, and CIP quality reviews and support.
The BSA Compliance Manager partners closely with the BSA leadership team to support administration of the enterprise-wide BSA/AML/OFAC compliance program.
Additionally, this role serves as a key resource to business units by providing guidance on BSA-related matters and supporting the identification and mitigation of financial crime risks, including money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activity.
Success in this role includes improving consistency in investigative outcomes, strengthening quality control effectiveness, and supporting the continued maturation and scalability of the BSA program.
