Requirements

Shall have at least five years of supervisory experience in radiation protection at a commercial nuclear reactor facility.

Nice to have:

A minimum of two years related technical training.

Industry experience (e.g., INPO).

Experience in radiological safety areas such as rad waste management, ALARA, REMP/RETS, and dosimetry.

Responsibilities

The Manager of Radiation Protection (Superintendent) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of radiation protection at the nuclear power station.

This includes ensuring adherence to regulations, industry standards, and company procedures, while minimizing worker and public dose and the spread of contamination.

This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Radiation Protection.

Radiation Protection: Managing all facets of the Radiation Protection Program, including dose monitoring, ALARA implementation, radioactive waste management, respiratory protection, and training programs.
