Responsibilities
The Corporate Software Asset Manager is accountable to senior management for the effective design, execution, and continuous improvement of the Software Asset Management (SAM) program.
This individual ensures that SAM processes are clearly defined, well understood, and consistently followed across all IT Lines of Business.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure all software assets are accurately identified, tracked, and managed throughout their full lifecycle—from procurement and licensing through deployment, optimization, and end-of-life or retirement—while maintaining compliance with vendor agreements and regulatory requirements.
The Software Asset Manager demonstrates a strong commitment to doing what is right for customers and colleagues, ensuring that actions and behaviors contribute to a positive customer experience.
Operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, this role consistently identifies, assesses, manages, monitors, and reports on risks related to software usage, licensing, and compliance.
Standardize discovered software asset data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
