Bachelor’s degree or at least 4 years of relevant experience in recruitment, outreach, community engagement, education, or nonprofit work
Experience with student recruitment, enrollment, or community outreach preferred
Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with diverse communities
Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively with a team
Demonstrates a “whatever it takes” attitude to meet recruitment and enrollment goals

Responsibilities
Community Outreach and Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, local businesses, childcare centers, and neighborhood partners to expand awareness of KIPP Columbus and strengthen recruitment pipelines.
Identify and cultivate partnerships with community-based organizations that can promote KIPP Columbus through their networks, events, and communications.
Represent KIPP Columbus at community events such as fairs, festivals, open houses, and local gatherings to engage families, answer questions, and share information about KIPP Columbus schools and programs.
Research, identify, and coordinate opportunities to participate in community events throughout the year to promote the KIPP Columbus enrollment lottery and support application goals.
Support the planning and execution of school-hosted community events that welcome prospective families, community organizations, and neighborhood leaders onto campus.

The KIPP Columbus learning campus will continue to advance student learning, expand partnerships, enable superior programming, and serve as a teaching and leadership lab for schools nationwide, reimagining education through a deeper lens of antiracism, excellence, and joy as we expand to educate nearly 4,000 students on our learning campus in the coming years.
