What You Bring
3+ years of experience in HR, People Operations or People Programs within a global or scaling organization
Strong ability to translate strategy into execution—you bring structure to ambiguity
Experience managing or coordinating global programs or cyclical HR processes (e.g., performance, talent, compensation)
Highly organized with exceptional planning, prioritization, and stakeholder coordination skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority

This role is designed to bridge strategy and execution—translating business and people priorities into structured, scalable programs and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across regions.

Partner cross-functionally to ensure programs are well-structured, clearly communicated, and effectively delivered
Collaborate to translate business priorities into structured programs, timelines, and actionable plans
Develop and maintain toolkits, frameworks, and resources that HRBPs can deploy within their business units
Coordinate and consolidate global HRBP inputs, ensuring alignment and reducing duplication of effort

Hybrid Work Model
At Assent, we proudly embrace a remote-first work model, valuing the flexibility and autonomy it provides our team. We also acknowledge the intangible benefits of occasional in-person workdays. For team members situated within 50 kms/31 miles of our five global offices in Ottawa, Eldoret, Penang, Columbus, Pune and Amsterdam, you can expect to come into the office 1-3 days a week. Similarly, those near our co-working spaces in Nairobi and Toronto are encouraged to work onsite once a month.
Please note that for this role, priority will be given to candidates based in Ottawa who can work from our headquarters at least one day a week, in office.
