Requirements
Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering
3+ years of experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment
Proficiency in CAD tools, particularly SolidWorks
Demonstrated experience designing UL 891-compliant low-voltage switchboards
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and material specifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when coordinating with international teams
Responsibilities
We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Switchboard Engineer
to join our Houston-based engineering team. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between U.S. customer requirements and our manufacturing operations in China, owning the customization and delivery of switchboard designs from concept to manufacturing release. You’ll leverage your CAD expertise and deep knowledge of UL 891 standards to develop mechanical and electrical prints that meet rigorous quality and safety benchmarks.
