Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Lead Echo Technologist, this person performs services utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment specifically for cardiac structures.
Performs and initially interprets Cardiac Echocardiogram studies, including Two-Dimensional Echocardiograms, Doppler, Contrast studies, Trans-Esophageal Echocardiogram, Stress Echocardiogram, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram, and Bubble studies.
Communicates with different areas of the Cardiology Department, other hospital departments, and the Cardiovascular lab to facilitate delivery of service.
Performs comprehensive echocardiographic procedures including but not limited to
Echocardiograms, Trans-Esophageal Echocardiograms, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms, and Exercise Echocardiograms, both in the Cardiovascular lab and in-patient units.
