Responsibilities

Maintenance and Repairs: Schedule regular inspections, coordinate repairs, and maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Compliance Oversight: Ensuring that all vehicles and drivers comply with Provincial, and Federal regulations, including TDGA, Hours of Service, Licensing & Registration.

Dispatch: Collaborate with the company customer service team on customer requests and create the daily service schedule.

Operational Efficiency: Optimize routes, monitor fuel usage, track vehicle locations, and manage scheduling to maximize productivity and reduce downtime.

Budget and Cost Management: Monitor expenses related to fuel, maintenance, repairs, and other operational costs, identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.

Strategic Planning: Consult with Company management to develop equipment replacement cycles, and technology adoption to enhance overall efficiency and support organizational goals.
