Back Barn Service and Installation Specialist

Previous dairy, poultry and hog in-barn equipment experience preferred; experience or knowledge in electronics and mechanics

Preference will be given to applicants with strong history of millwrighting experience

Experience with the proper handling of power and hand tools

Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings

Availability to work on call hours (evenings/weekends)

Farming or agriculture background an asset

As an in-barn Service and Installation Technician, you will install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools

Test, inspect and examine machinery and equipment; adjust, repair, and replace defective parts as necessary in a timely, well -organized fashion

Maintain machinery, service motors, gearboxes, PLC, frequency drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, scale repairs, feed systems

Provide customer support and recommendations to farmers; effectively manage and communicate any concerns, problems, or complaints

Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operation of newly installed equipment.

Provide customer training on maintenance, adjustments and repairs of newly installed equipment
