Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 4 years relevant experience or equivalent combination.
Experience counseling/advising undergraduates in higher education.
Demonstrated ability to advise and mentor students from diverse backgrounds in exploring and succeeding in higher education.
Candidates for the position must demonstrate their ability to contribute to an evolving student experience team and be able to embrace change.
Must possess an appreciation and understanding of a research university, and desire to work closely with students using proven student development
theory/techniques.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive academic advising to ILR undergraduate students, guiding them through degree requirements, curriculum planning, academic performance, policies, and co-curricular opportunities.
Support students navigating sensitive or complex situations and connect them with appropriate campus resources.
Serve as the Office of Student Services advising liaison to Student Disability Services and ensure students receive appropriate referrals and accommodation support.
Co-lead the ILR Peer Mentor Program, including recruitment, training, and oversight of approximately 30 mentors.
Serve as the primary Staff Advisor to the ILR Student Government Association and support leadership across all ILR undergraduate student organizations.
Provide advising, training, and organizational support for ILR student organizations in partnership with Campus Activities.
