Responsibilities
The Master Scheduler is responsible for owning and maintaining the enterprise Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure alignment between demand, supply, capacity, and inventory objectives. This role serves as a critical link between S&OP decision-making and operational execution, providing a feasible, balanced production plan that supports customer service, cost, and operational performance.
Own enterprise-level capacity planning, including rough-cut and medium-term capacity assessments.
Identify capacity constraints, bottlenecks, and risks across manufacturing sites.
Develop capacity scenarios and mitigation plans to support demand changes and strategic initiatives.
Lead the capacity planning portion of the S&OP Supply Review, presenting constraints, trade-offs, and recommendations.
