Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
An individual Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license issued by the United States DEA for Schedule II-V controlled substances, required only if prescribing controlled substances to outpatients
Furnishing license issued by the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN), required only if furnishing medications

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Responsibilities
Department Description
The APP works amongst a group of 15 physicians and 5 APP within the perioperative process in the department of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia.
The APP will cover both inpatient and outpatient populations partnering with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to help coordinate, plan, implement, and optimize general anesthesia treatments specializing in neonates/children/adults with congenital and/or acquired heart disease.
Many of our patients have challenging complex medical histories and multiple comorbidities.
The areas of expertise include cardiac surgery, cardiac catheterization, MRI/CT, electrophysiological studies, cardiac transplant, and general surgery.
We frequently consult with other services to optimize care.
