3 years professional experiences, including some experience in developing countries with MSF, ideally with different sections, or another international organization.
Knowledge of MSF Supply Centres highly recommended.
Experience with quality assurance and procurement is an asset.
Knowledge of MSF Pharmacy Stock Management tools is a bonus.
The organization also has an arranged medical evacuation if necessary.
The expenses of stay in the land are covered: housing, basic services, cleaning and washing.
Responsibilities
This position is an intersectional position for all the sections operational in Afghanistan, hierarchically reporting to Afghanistan Country Representative and technically reporting to the Section Pharmacist Focal Point.
Only major strategic discussions and decisions, beyond routine administrative and day to day regulatory activities, will be submitted to the Med Cell platform for validation.
Acts as a technical focal point for pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, importation, and liaison with national authorities.
Act as the intersectional technical focal person for pharmaceutical regulatory and importation matters for all the sections present in Afghanistan, ensuring coherence, coordination, and collaboration across sections..
Ensure timely, compliant, and coordinated importation and availability of medical and pharmaceutical supplies, from a regulatory perspective, in line with MSF protocols, standards, and procedures, and in close collaboration with the Supply Team.
Provide strategic technical guidance to Afghanistan RA Pharmacist, the Afghanistan Country Representative, Medical Coordinators, and Country Pharmacists on regulatory and importation matters.
