Experience extracting, transforming, and loading data from various systems.

Basic experience with scripting/programming.

Understanding of data encryption and security practices associated with secure data transfer.

Responsibilities

Serve as an eDiscovery point-of-contact with internal/external technical teams and Carvana’s in-house and outside counsel.

Design, develop, maintain, and/or improve internal reporting regarding Carvana’s litigation portfolio and the performance of its multiple Legal Teams.

Work with cross-functional teams to understand business workflows, data systems, and processes related to data discovery.

Support the successful response to third-party subpoenas and consumer litigation by  executing eDiscovery, document collection, and legal hold workflows.

Collaborate in the development, documentation, and enhancement of processes to ensure adherence with legal requirements.

Maintain database information, scripting and other custom tooling for tracking, accessing, and exporting a variety of company information systems.

The

eDiscovery Technologist

performs key functions for Carvana’s Litigation Team and the broader Carvana Legal Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: facilitation and support of litigation hold and eDiscovery requests, querying systems of record, and creating reports from information contained in multiple different databases. The ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of a variety of technologies and systems, has worked with databases and automation tools, and has experience writing scripts or programs. The best candidate will have a strong analytical aptitude with the ability to investigate, interpret, and clearly communicate findings, solutions, and recommendations to improve operational processes.
