Requirements

2 to 4 years of Configuration/Data Management experience in DoD, aerospace, or missile defense programs

Knowledge of configuration management principles and standards, including AS9100, EIA-649, and MIL-HDBK-61.

Experience with engineering PDM/PLM tools such as Windchill, Enovia 3D experience, Teamcenter, or SolidWorks PDM.

Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or Pro/Engineering.

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field is preferred; however, candidates with a minimum of 5 years of configuration/data management experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

The Configuration/Data Manager II performs configuration and data management activities under the general oversight of senior Configuration/Data Management personnel.

This position is responsible for supporting and executing technical baseline management, engineering change control, and document management processes to ensure hardware, software, and technical data are accurately maintained, properly authorized, and fully traceable throughout the product life cycle.

Manage and control hardware, software, and documentation baselines to ensure configuration integrity, accuracy, traceability, and consistency throughout the product lifecycle.

Oversee configuration control activities, including creation, revision, review, and approval of engineering drawings, specifications, technical data packages (TDPs), and related documentation.

Administer Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and change workflows to ensure proper evaluation, approval, implementation, and tracking of configuration changes.

Maintain CM databases, repositories, and records to ensure all configuration documentation remains current, accurate, and audit ready.
