Strong understanding of supporting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (iADLs).
Knowledge of behavioral management techniques and strategies for responsive care.
Familiarity with gerontology issues, as well as health care and social service systems.

$23.21 per hour
Responsibilities
Deliver client-centered, culturally competent personal care that promotes dignity and independence.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, transfers, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, toileting, and continence care.
Support instrumental activities of daily living (iADLs) including light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bulk shopping.
Provide medication assistance or reminders in line with policy.
Perform delegated tasks (controlled and non-controlled acts) as taught by a Regulated Health Professional and in accordance with policies.
Observe and document changes in clients’ physical, mental, or cognitive health and report unsafe conditions promptly.
