Requirements
Must be eligible to access the Laboratory in compliance with Section 3112 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
Demonstrated academic achievement in aerothermal modeling and chemical kinetics of vehicles in high speed flight.
Familiarity with one or more of the following technical computing packages common in your discipline area: Pointwise, Ansys, Cart3D, US3D, Tecplot, Paraview, FIAT, ATAC, CMA or similar.

Graduate Student Intern
The opening is for a graduate level student who has received a bachelor’s or master’s degree who will be given the opportunity to engage in practical research to further their educational goals.
Opportunities include technical and/or research support to projects in the areas of Computational Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
Provide technical and/or research support to projects in the areas of computational engineering, or other related fields, working with engineers, scientists, and technical staff members.
Gather and analyze data or information in support of scientific research.
