Systems Engineer, Logistic Systems

Key Requirements and Professional Attributes:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

4-6 years of experience in systems engineering, technical sales or product engineering; preferably in convey and sortation solutions.

High motivation, drive and initiative to get things done with little to no supervision.

Team player and ability to work well with large team setups including internation cultures.

Strong time management, organization and attention to detail.

The Systems Engineer, based in Somerset, NJ, is a multifaceted role requiring an in-depth understanding of BEUMER sortation products and applications. This position is responsible for analyzing customer requirements, developing innovative solutions, estimating costs, overseeing the development of layouts using 2D and 3D CAD and delivering customer proposals. Additionally, the Systems Engineer acting in the capacity of subject matter expert, collaborates with Sales, Engineering, and Software/Controls to ensure the successful design of solutions that address customer requirements. The Systems Engineer is also responsible for participating in and leading client meetings, calls and workshops serving in the capacity of a technical expert.
