Requirements
Willing to relocate to within 75 minutes of nuclear plant in order to meet requirements of Emergency Response Organization (ERO) responsibilities which could include callouts with a defined response time to the site and an on call duty rotation requiring the employee to be Fit for Duty.
Must obtain Nuclear Unescorted Access Authorization
Respiratory physical
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
Ability to meet RP essential job functions (climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, ability to wear protective equipment, etc.)
This role requires the use of weight rated equipment, with max ratings ranging from 275lbs to 325lbs, in order to meet the essential functions of the job.
Responsibilities
Performs duties to ensure that plant and environmental samples are prepared and analyzed in a timely and quality manner in support of the fleet radiological environmental management programs (REMP) and Radiological Effluent Control Program (RECP)
Successfully complete Radiation Worker training to support work in Radiological Control Areas
May be asked to support nuclear fleet emergency response activities including, but not limited to, analyses of post-accident environmental samples
