Requirements
6+ years in product management with significant time in payments, fintech infrastructure, or regulated financial products -- exchange, brokerage, neobank, or high-volume consumer fintech backgrounds are all relevant
Deep hands-on fluency with payment rails, KYC/AML providers, and fraud tooling -- you've debugged a stuck ACH return, read a chargeback representment, and shipped a KYC vendor swap
Product instinct above all -- you read funnels, run experiments, and treat compliance as a design constraint to optimize around, not a wall to hide behind
High tolerance for ambiguity, speed, and the specific kind of pressure that comes with owning real money flows for real users
Fluency in crypto and stablecoin infrastructure for payments
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $180,000 to $240,000 annually plus equity and benefits. This salary range is based on the current available market data and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles. Should you have compensation expectations that exceed these bands, we'd love to hear from you and would welcome you to reach out to further discuss.
Responsibilities
Translate complex payment flows into simple, intuitive money movement user experiences across all rails -- ACH, debit, wires, stablecoins and more
Define and improve key payment performance metrics (authorization rates, chargebacks, reliability) through rigorous data-driven experimentation
Own provider strategy and relationships across banking partners, card networks, processors, and stablecoin infrastructure -- you'll know who to call when something breaks and shape the terms that protect our margins and our users
Manage cost across the rails stack: chargebacks, processing fees, FX, and reserves
Own end-to-end user journeys across identity and risk -- pass rates, deposit rates, false positives, and user dropoffs; you'll obsess over the funnel and run the experiments that move it
Drive fraud and AML programs in close partnership with risk, compliance, and legal -- includes transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and dispute operations
