Senior AI Engineer, Platform

5+ years of industry experience, with a focus on software engineering, applied machine learning, or AI product development.

Demonstrated success building and deploying production-ready AI/ML applications, particularly in generative AI (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG systems).

Expert in Python and GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI SDK, MCP, etc.)

Experience developing backend systems and APIs, and working closely with product and design to ship customer-facing features.

AI Engineer II, you’ll lead development of production-grade generative AI applications that power Samsara’s GTM engine.

You’ll work at the cutting edge of applied AI: generating high-quality outreach at scale, building copilots for sellers, and enabling voice and chat interfaces that help teams engage with customers more naturally and effectively.

You’ll partner closely with revenue operations, sales leadership, product, and engineering teams — and you’ll be empowered to move fast, test ideas, and scale impact across the company.
