Responsibilities
As an Engineering Manager on the Moniepoint Payments team, you should have strong technical depth and proven leadership experience to guide a high-performing team. The ideal candidate has led complex, high-scale payment systems, driven cross-functional initiatives, mentored engineers at multiple levels, and delivered mission-critical systems under high-critical operational environments.
You should be a hands-on technical leader who enjoys designing scalable systems, coaching engineers, navigating ambiguity, and collaborating with product, business, and compliance teams to build resilient financial infrastructure.
Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team building scalable payment products and platforms.
Provide architectural guidance on backend and distributed systems powering high-throughput payments.
Drive initiatives that identify bottlenecks and implement engineering solutions that scale reliably and securely.
