Power Electronics Intern

Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The salary range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is: $30 USD.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. Create the best possible products by contributing to product level features, design, and vision by leveraging your experience and creativity

Detailed design of power electronic systems from 10W – 10kW, DC/DC converters, offline isolated power supplies, and inverters including the selection of topology, semiconductors, magnetics design, schematic design and layout, EMC and design of various safety aspects

Collaborate to create efficient verification and validation test plans for the individual components as well as the complete system

Bring up and testing of systems to validate functionality, optimize performance, and evaluate critical characteristics

Work across functions such as mechanical, thermal, reliability, and firmware engineering to optimize the product

Start-to-finish ownership of the power conversion system from specification through design, prototype, validation and manufacturing
