Requirements

Basic Life Support by American Heart Association (AHA)

RQI Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.

Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $33.98 to $38.52

Responsibilities

The Clinical/Medical Assistant (CMA), functions as a member of the clinic patient care team and functions as both Clinic Assistant and Medical Assistant as directed by the Clinic Manager or designee.

Perform all clerical duties required to complete patient Check-in/Check-out, administer and coordinate the HMO referral and service authorization process, and performs other clinic front desk activities.

Performs a variety of routine administrative, clerical and technical supportive services to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.

Responsible for clinical duties such as taking vital signs, giving injections, performing simple diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms and supplies

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

Escorts patient to exam room; measures and records vital signs.
