Responsibilities

The Land Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (LC5ISR) Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) team is seeking a Systems Engineer to support delivery of critical capabilities for the Canadian Army.  You will be working with a multidisciplinary engineering team to ISTAR capabilities into a fully integrated tactical network, capable of providing flexible, multi-role and combat-capable communications, command and control. You will be part of an agile development team, responsible for designing and building software components for ISTAR commanders and operators. If you are looking to be a part of an integrated product team, working in an agile framework, we encourage you to apply.

The ISTAR team is currently developing an Enterprise Network capable of enabling the intelligence community to perform mission tasks in support of Joint Forces Operations.  We are seeking an individual with a background in System or Network Engineering who is interested in the design and development of   a comprehensive, high performance network infrastructure capable of supporting secure connections in military environments.

The following are typical responsibilities:

Analysis and decomposition of complex problems into achievable solutions

Develop and document system designs, use cases and system interfaces

Architecture Modelling in tools such as Enterprise Architecture
