Does not perform CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, or administer contrast media.

Assists with radiographic procedures including portable exams, C-arm, and general x-ray under supervision, following radiation safety guidelines.

Positions and instructs patients for exams using appropriate immobilization, support, and protective devices, as directed.

Assists with room preparation, including set-up of equipment and supplies for procedures.

Demonstrates and applies proper infection control and sterile technique when participating in procedures.

Processes images using DR and CR systems and assists with PACS workflow under supervision.
