Requirements

Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience pertinente en prévention des pertes ou en protection des actifs au sein d'un réseau d'établissements.

Maîtrise des lois et règlements canadiens fédéraux, provinciaux et locaux concernant les interpellations, la sécurité et tous les aspects de la prévention des pertes.

Détenir un permis provincial est également requis pour ce poste.

Expérience démontrée en enquêtes internes, notamment en matière d'utilisation de systèmes de signalement d'exceptions et de gestion de programmes d'interpellation externes.

Aptitude avérée à collaborer avec les forces de l'ordre et les professionnels du droit, tant au civil qu'au pénal.

Expérience des technologies et méthodes de prévention des pertes, y compris la vidéosurveillance, la surveillance discrète, les systèmes EAS, le contrôle d'accès et les systèmes de détection d'intrusion.

Responsibilities

Implementation and execution of all Loss Prevention initiatives and policies within their assigned location in partnership with Store Management and the Area Loss Prevention Manager, to protect the company’s assets and ensure the safety of all customers and employees.

Assist Store Manager and Area Loss Prevention Manager with training of store personnel on Loss Prevention policies, procedures, and initiatives.

Detect and identify shoplifters and safely apprehend subjects or recover merchandise accordance with Federal and Provincial laws, as well as company and department policy.  Assist the Area Loss Prevention Manager with detection and investigation of internal theft and policy violation incidents on an ongoing basis.

Track internal investigations and external theft incidents within the department’s case management system in a timely manner.

Implement loss reduction initiatives in partnership with store teams and Loss Prevention senior management.

Follow up as necessary on throughout the inventory cycle to ensure compliance and report progress to the Store Manager, Area Loss Prevention Manager, and others as directed.
