Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

5+ years of work experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or comparable function

Expert in SQL with focus on data modeling, large-scale data processing, and tool development for analytics or Financial use cases.

Experience and knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETLs, big data technologies, and analytics platforms

Experience with analytics workflow tools (examples: Airflow, Docker, dbt), data warehousing and storage (examples: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, S3), and data visualization tools (examples: Mode, Tableau, Looker)

Nice to have:

San Francisco: The pay range for this role is $170,000 to $234,000 per year.

This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office 3 days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday).

Additionally, hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific Workplace and Information Technology positions may require onsite attendance 5 days per week as will be indicated in the job posting.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to scale a critically important function responsible for building and maintaining systems, processes and services that enable us to understand financial performance and unlock key business insights at Faire. The ideal candidate for this role will ensure key accounting procedures are automated in ways that are accurate, efficient, easy-to-understand, and scalable. This role will sit in the Finance department and collaborate with team members from a breadth of functional groups across Faire, including Accounting, Finance & Strategy, Engineering and Data Infrastructure. Scope, design, create, and manage complex ETL flows that aggregate and synthesize key business performance metrics and financial reporting, ensuring efficient, accurate, and scalable data models using best practices

Act as a trusted analytical partner to the Accounting and Finance teams providing technical expertise, gathering requirements from product and operational teams, and enabling data-driven decision-making and accountability by ensuring core ledgers accurately reflect business changes

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Infrastructure, and other stakeholders as a key translator and process improver, gathering requirements and delivering impactful data solutions that ensure alignment and efficiency across the organization

Lead initiatives to drive data strategy, roadmap planning, and prioritization, ensuring alignment with business objectives
