Responsibilities

Works collaboratively to monitor phlebotomy status reports to provide phlebotomy services in a timely manner.

May be required to perform the duties and responsibilities of LTA, Phlebotomist and/or CLA as required for patient care.

Distributes work assignments and acts as a liaison between the Laboratory and other Departments.

Has demonstrated advances skills in all areas of specimen collection, including computer expertise for troubleshooting, downloading and printers.

Has the ability to direct specimens to the appropriate departments.

Proficiently handles and uses all procedures and reports associated with the use of LIS devices.
