Responsibilities

As our Electrical Tester, you are the ultimate gatekeeper of product safety and functionality.

You will take full ownership of our testing environment, executing high-voltage procedures and functional checks to ensure every switchboard is completely bulletproof before it leaves the factory floor.

Master the Testing Environment: Secure the test area, install and activate red safety lights, and meticulously verify that all circuit breakers, control fused disconnects, fuses, and miniature circuit breakers are fully open before testing.

Execute Ground Bond Testing: Follow strict safety and sequential steps—ensure the tester is unplugged before setup, close main/feeder breakers, connect live leads from the ground bus to the ground chassis, and accurately record current readings.

Run Hi-Pot Testing: Own the complete Dielectric Voltage Withstand sequence (unplugging the set, separating ground-neutral bonding jumpers, closing breakers, opening fuses/SPDs, and reinstalling disconnects post-test).

Verify System Specs: Confirm that all breaker ratings, control power components, and lug sizes perfectly match the electrical single-line diagram (SLD) and wiring schematics.
