Education/Certifications: A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Years of Experience: 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment, preferably in a Finance-focused role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to simplify complex financial topics for non-finance stakeholders.
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
Proven ability to compile, interpret, and present financial information clearly and concisely—frequently in PowerPoint—to leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $100,000.00 - $125,000.00

Responsibilities
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Lead material cost controlling activities for production, including variance analysis, forecasting, and cost‑optimization initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Own the planning, monitoring, and reporting of serial material cost performance (standard cost updates, index impacts, and actual‑vs‑plan deviations).
Serve as the subject matter expert for serial material cost controlling and related finance processes, including key SAP/IT system integrations.
Develop robust business cases (e.g., insourcing, lease‑vs‑buy, make‑or‑buy) to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
Partner cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to drive alignment toward long‑term financial and operational targets.
