Laboratory Technician C - Mineralogy (Seasonal)

Post-secondary education with a Technical Diploma/Science Degree or equivalent industry experience

0-2 years of experience

Basic computer skills with experience with MS office and LIMS.

Good communication skills and fluency in English both verbal and written.

Perform basic laboratory procedures including preparation of samples, reagents and calibration solutions.

Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning work stations and waste disposal.

Operate a variety of laboratory equipment including but not limited to XRD, XRF, TGA, and Magnetic Separator instrumentation.

Calibrate, operate, maintain and troubleshoot intermediate instruments.

Compile, verify and validate accurate data records.

Meet quality assurance and turn around specifications.
