As the ideal candidate, you will bring a strong mix of technical expertise, innovative thinking, and collaborative spirit to our team. You have hands-on experience developing and implementing digital solutions for the legal industry, including low-code no code platforms, document automation, and AI-driven document review.
You are confident working with generative AI tools and understand their application in legal automation and process optimisation. Experience with SQL Management, eDiscovery, or Microsoft Stack Development will be highly regarded, as will a foundation in basic programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, CSS, or HTML.
You demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, coupled with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships. You are detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative, capable of working independently while managing competing priorities effectively.
With proven leadership and accountability, you take ownership of team deliverables and actively mentor others, fostering a culture of learning and innovation. Responsibilities
Working as the firm’s Legal Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining digital solutions such as precedents, workflows and knowledge systems aimed at optimising and enhancing legal operations. You will rigorously test and validate automation tools to ensure they meet high standards of quality, compliance, governance, data privacy, and brand consistency. This role sits within the broader Knowledge and Legal Excellence team and offers a diverse and engaging scope of work, spanning document automation, legal technology implementation, workflow optimisation, training delivery, and innovation projects. This role is available in either our Brisbane or Sydney office.
Key duties will include:
Using low-code and no-code tools to design, develop, or oversee prototypes and proof-of-concepts, and managing the final build of digital service solutions and online interfaces.
Reading project documents, including user stories and requirements, and translating them into clear technical specifications and solutions.
Ensuring all digital solutions comply with governance, data privacy, and brand standards.
Conducting thorough testing, validation, and performance checks on digital solutions.
