Architectural & Building Technologist

A graduated Technician or Technologist with educational focus in Architectural and Building Technologies (experience in Civil, Mechanical and Structural disciplines is an asset).

Experience using Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD LT, Sketchup, Excel, Word, etc.

Knowledge of Parts 3 and/or 9 of the Building Code.

Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).

Ability to read and interpret building design drawings (drafting skills are an asset).

Team oriented and able to work individually.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per annum plus benefits and opportunities for advanced training and education. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.

The successful candidate will:

Build Code review of drawings, shop drawings, etc.

Prepare Code compliance drawings, reports, letters, alternative solutions, etc.

Conduct site reviews and prepare field review reports.
